Hotel Transylvania: Mavis Studies

These are some drawings I did while animating on the film Hotel Transylvania.

Near the start of production, I was given a scene where Mavis (Dracula's daughter) is sitting on her bed and she's feeling a bit troubled with the world. I was trying to figure out her character at this point, so I did these drawings as an attempt to get inside her head as well as try to come up with some sitting poses that would be unique to a teen aged girl.
